I ponder why of all profession I choose to be an educator and why reignite the spirit of Dr. C. Seetharamaiah, the answer is not hard for me to find. My philosophical upbringing and the Achala philosophy put together influenced me to head the institution with dedication and involvement.

Started with just under ten students during the year 2005, AVN today is a fully fledged institution catering to the need of quality education in the Kanteervanagar locality of Bangalore.

Quality is a word used very often to highlight the good the best. Today quality education is synonymous with marks. But are marks are not the only means available to gain wisdom? No, It is just one of the many. In tandem with our mission, A AVN we try various means by which one can be guided to gain knowledge. To be more specific, we lay the foundation stone for our students to build their wisdom with our resources as we carter more to the section of society to whom quality is a luxury.

Compulsory Karate and music classes are few of the initiative taken. Achala Utsava (ಅಚಲ ಉತ್ಸವ) and Achala Prothsaha (ಅಚಲ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಹ) our intra school competition in which participation of all students is a must is intended to evoke the hidden talents of our students. At AVN we try and implement activities that help one to fill the gap between text books and life.

Though the mission and vision of AVN might sound lofty, every passing day gives me the hope and confidence that I am on the right track.
