Achala Vidya Nikethan

Education as a means of knowledge and knowledge as a means of wisdom for social upliftment of the underprivledged was the vision of Dr. C. Seetharamaiah, Founder of Achala Seva Samaj. He established Achala Vdiya Mandir in the year 1966 during that time he had to force reluctant parents and ascetic society to impart primary education to their children. His team used to visit door to door requesting parents to spare a couple of hours for their working children to get a formal education even incentivising them with free uniform, midday meals and also hair oil upon attending classes.
